When my trip was cut short and we were sent home from Thailand, I definitely, as well as everyone else, had some questions for God about what He was doing.

Then God showed me a vision while I was in the airport.

God showed me an army of us whom had been overseas called to a place that was in very desperate need of revival.

I know it might not be easy to see all the time right now, but God is doing some cool things in America. I also want to dispel the lie that to be a missionary you have to be overseas. As a Christian you are a missionary and both America and the rest of the world needs to see that light.

So as I am currently in Georgia with the world race gap year, here are 5 cool things God is doing in America during such a time as this.

1. God is working through the world race gap year right here in Gainesville Georgia. He is discipling 100+ 18-20 year olds to grow in intimacy with him and learn how to love others. They are being equipped for ministry and given the tools to spread the gospel.

2. God is healing hearts and reaching many through Samaritans purse in Louisiana. As a squad we got the opportunity to spend a week along side Samaritans purse in Louisiana and help fix roofs, remove trees, and remove mold from houses. With this we came beside home owners and shared the gospel.

3. God is breaking down walls of racism and stereotypes. Through an organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, called One Race, the hard conversations about race are being attacked and the church is being called into action. We had the incredible opportunity to hear from them as they taught us what the Bible says about race and how to go about reconciliation.

4. God is building up leaders in CGA, a Christian leadership school based in Gainesville, Georgia. Through this the students are learning more and more what it looks like to be men and women of God and grow in intimacy with Him. They are also learning how to take God with them in the work space and in every part of their lives.

5. Through the world race gap year, men and women are taking part in breaking the walls of the sex trafficking industry by partnering with a local organization in Georgia.

So in short God is working both here and overseas, as well as during challenging times like covid.
