This blog is meant to display some of the random things that only world racers can relate to or just random stories that would only happen here.

1. Acquiring the most random skills. Example 1: I now know how to make soccer nets because we have spent making them for our ministry. Example 2: My soccer skills have gone through the roof. Let me tell you when you spend every day playing soccer with Guatemalans for ministry you get good pretty fast.

2. You make up some pretty weird things that you would never make anywhere else. Example: Me and my friend have spent a fair amount of time bouncing a tennis ball against the wall and back into each others hammocks.

3. You realize a bunch of things you used to take for granted. Example: Washing machines. After 3 weeks of hand washing your cloths and letting them dry where it rains every day you are willing to spend a lot of money on a washing machine. Having something professionally washed is worth allot.

  1. I appreciate your wit. I wonder if those net making skills are transferable to other industries (ie. fishing). Keep up the good work, Ronaldo (this is a compliment to your growing soccer prowess). In all seriousness, your team and squad are in our prayers as you continue this journey.

  2. Grant, although these things seem so random, trust me you are making such a world of difference by doing it! The Lord has given you such talents to be able to help with all of this for the pure joy it gives on these sweet child’s faces! And to know that the Lord cares and loves them! Thank you for all that you are doing! Andrea, maddies mom
