It was moderately crazy that we were already at training camp. With no expectations at all I found myself in Gainsville, Georgia with a 40 pound pack and almost no idea who anybody was. What I did not realize then was that these people were going to be some of my closest friends and how excited I would become to spend the next 9 months of my life with them. My team (pictured above) who became known as "Men of God" met people together, worshiped together and ate crickets together. Yes I did say we at crickets as that was our breakfast one day along with what is called a "Thousand Year Egg". I could never have imagined coming along side such a group of people with our one thing in common being God.

One of the most exciting things during training camp was to learn that due to needing a visa we would spend our last month in Malaysia! Our whole squad was cheering as we learned the news. Along side this we learned where in each country we were going to stay as well as what we would most likely do there.

After all said and done I can say that I can't wait to go on this trip with these amazing men and women of God. Even if we had to eat crickets, run 2 miles, sleep in tents that occasionally got soaked due to rain, and try and stay awake during multiple hour long sessions, I can say that it was worth it. Lets go spread the gospel!
